About

Biography

A Random ImageI'm 23 years old and in June 2007 graduated from the University of Durham with a First Class Masters Degree in Engineering (MEng). I specialised in New and Renewable Energy and hope to make this a part of my future career in Engineering. In September 2007 I started on a Graduate Programme with AMEC Natural Resources based in their Aberdeen office working as an Electrical Engineer on various offshore oil and gas projects. If I had been at University in America I would have minored in Ironical Studies.

Whilst at University I developed a passion for the night sky and amateur astronomy. I also became more serious about photography which has advanced along with the astronomy, including forays into astrophotography. I have a great passion for music, including everything from indie-rock and pop through to jazz, folk and electronica, and enjoy discovering exciting new bands as well as occasionally getting my own electric or bass guitar out for a jam. Besides this I like to read, watch films, British comedy and American TV dramas and when I can I get out running or playing badminton.
