Saturn, Regulus and Moon Conjunction

So before I get on to the joys of this morning, I'll do the first half of what should have been a "night of conjunctions". When I got back to College last night, Regulus, Saturn and The Moon were sitting in a nice neat line just above the roof tops. I went back in, got the camera and set-up outside. After the crystal clear skies of earlier it was slightly hazy but it doesn't seem to have messed up the photos too badly. Here the Moon is obviously at the top, and still quite bright, with Saturn below and to the left, and then Regulus below and to the left of Saturn. A few drunk people returned from Klute so I took a Moon picture to show them. They were impressed. I doubt they remember the experience though. I took a final shot to set the scene before heading for bed and my early wake up call.

Alignment over College
