Andy and myself rendez-vous'd up at the Field to capture a glorious mag -7 flare. After a couple of minutes spent finding Epsilon Pegasus in amongst the murky cloud (and the moonlight) we aligned cameras and sorted our focus. Then we waited.

The waiting stopped as at approx 18:05:30 we spotted the satellite moving briskly towards the star Epsilon. Immediately we started our exposures and then waited for the results, marvelling at the shining brilliance of the flare as it passed through its -7 maximum.
