Jupiter and Saturn Conjunction
I was much less lucky with the clouds than the previous evening and only got about 30 seconds worth of viewing time before the views were mostly obscured.
Waxing Crescent Moon
The Moon, over in the southern sky, seemed to be just above the worst of the cloud. Whilst I was waiting for a break to view the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction I spent a while enjoying the view of the Moon through the 25mm eyepiece. The seeing was good and details on the surface were very crisp. The twilight royal blue background only enhanced the viewing.
