Cassiopeia Nova 2021

As reported by the Society for Popular Astronomy, a Nova has recently appeared in Cassiopeia close to the open cluster M52 and embedded in the winter Milky Way. Using binoculars I was able to locate the Nova and followed up by taking some long exposure images of the sky around Cassiopeia to confirm the nova which is about mag 7.
