Observations

-8 Iridium Flare

Late in the night having already been to obs with DUAS, and after doing a bit of work I decided to investigate the -8 Iridium Flare hoping it would make up for the mysterious no-show earlier in the evening. Well, success! Thanks to the wonders of heavens-above I was able to set-up my shot and start the exposure just as I spotted the satellite. It was a bit higher than I was expecting but I think this shot does it justice - at least it gives me great satisfaction. It really was bright!
